About this course
The MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) course is aimed at building the capacity of climate adaptation champions. MEL is present and ongoing during every stage of a climate adaptation project or initiative: from the earliest steps of project design to the last activities of project closure. The second series of the MEL course delves deeper into the importance of MEL in climate adaptation and advocacy. This course is crucial to understanding the efforts to adapt to climate change, ensuring systematic progress over time. Unlike typical MEL, adaptation MEL requires capturing the complexities of climate impacts, such as shocks and stresses, and applying longitudinal research methods.
